I provide viola and violin lessons from my home studio in Yeronga—catered to the needs and goals of the individual student. I have a strong passion for musicianship, theory and pedagogy, and incorporate these into a more holistic view of music education. About me
Daniel Casey is a Queensland violist studying a Bachelor of Music under the tutelage of Patricia Pollett. He has performed with AYO seasons, Opera Queensland, Ensemble Q, and has partaken in side-by-side projects with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Queensland Symphony Orchestra. Daniel has been principal viola for The University of Queensland’s Symphony Orchestra and Pulse Chamber Orchestra. He has a strong passion for chamber music, and in 2022 his chamber ensemble won the 4MBS Musica Viva Sid Page Memorial Prize. Daniel has been teaching violin and viola privately for the last 5 years and has a strong passion for musicianship and pedagogy.

30mins: $35
45mins: $50
60mins: $70
Lesson cancellations must provide 12 hour notice or will incur a $20 cancellation fee.
Instruments and resources
You will be required to provide your own instrument for lessons. Instruments can be purchased from music stores such as Simply for Strings in Red Hill.
Other resources with either be provided, or recommend for purchase after the first lesson.
